Besides suiting, Mesure has recently launched made-to-measure jeans, crafted with premium denim. Made in Italy, our jeans are crafted for you in different colours and types of denim. From black, grey, dark blue, light blue, to white fabrics, Mesure offers a broad selection of denim types and washes. Options include selvedge, raw and washed denim, allowing for tailored choices in both quality and style.
Denim has multiple features to it, including the type of wash and the woving technique. All denim starts as raw, or unwashed. Traditional denim is made from 100% cotton - prepared through warping and further dyed using indigo, the specific blue color. After dyeing, warp threads are interlaced and form the fabric. The last stage of the production is stabilizing it to prevent long-term shrinkage and disruption.
Mesure is proud to offer made-to-measure selvedge jeans. Considered the most exclusive type of denim, selvedge denim respects traditional craftsmanship. Woven on a shuttle loom, it's a slower, meticulous process. Made of 100% cotton, it’s thick, dense, and grows more durable over time. It's marked by a white strip with a red wire, visible on rolled-up seams.
